Cosmos Marquez

Director of Operations, Broward/Miami-Dade


Mr. Marquez was promoted to Director of Operations for Broward and Miami-Dade counties in October 2017 following a series of advancements with our company. Over a three year period, Mr. Marquez received training in almost every area of our operations. Mr. Marquez joined Cambridge Security in 2013 as an unarmed officer at a residential account. In 2014, he was promoted to Field Training Officer where he spent a year ensuring our officers were delivering great customer service. Later that year, Mr. Marquez was promoted to Operations Coordinator, supporting the scheduling and staffing efforts of the Broward/Miami-Dade branch. Immediately prior to his promotion to Director of Operations, Mr. Marquez was a Sr. Operations Manager, overseeing the Florida Command Center. The combination of these experiences has positioned him well to lead our operations in Broward/Miami-Dade Counties.

Before joining Cambridge Security, Mr. Marquez began his career as an accountant at Telmex USA, a communications company. Mr. Marquez has an Associates of Arts degree in Business Accounting, and attended Broward College and Strayer University.

Michael Goodro

Director of Operations, West Coast


Mr. Goodro is our Director of Operations for Collier and Lee Counties. Michael Goodro joined the Cambridge team in December of 2018 as a Security Officer with our West Coast branch, and within a few weeks was promoted to Operations Coordinator. In June of 2020, Michael was promoted to Operations Manager, and in November of 2021 Michael was once again promoted to Director of Operations of that branch. During his tenure with us Michael worked on many of our special events.

Michael has 20+ years of law enforcement with the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. He began his career in 1993 and retired in 2013.  He served as a Non-Commissioned Officer for 17 years after being promoted to Sergeant at 3 years in the Army.  Throughout his career he deployed to numerous countries most notably, to Iraq three times to including the initial invasion by the United States 3D Infantry Division in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and to Afghanistan in support of Enduring Freedom with the 1st Infantry Division.  He is a decorated veteran with 2 Bronze Star Medals, 3 Meritorious Service Medals, 4 Army Commendation Medals, and was awarded the Combat Action Badge for direct engagement with hostile enemy forces.

Michael attended Florida Gulf Coast University from 2014 – 2018 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
